Garage Slat Walls and a Flake Floor: Everything Off the Floor
We install slat wall panels in garages across the GTA, as a package with a flake floor. Our install is from $3/sq ft of wall for light PVC panels and from $4/sq ft of wall for heavy-duty panels. Heavy items like tire racks are bolted to the studs, from $50 each. You buy the panels and hooks; we send you the shopping list.
Not sure how it would look? Send us two photos of your garage and we send back a picture of your garage with slat walls and your own things hung up, with a price range.

How It Works: Photos In, Your Garage Organized Out
Send us 2 photos
Text or DM us two photos of your garage as it is today, and tell us what you want off the floor: ladders, bikes, tires, yard tools, bins.
We send back your garage, organized
You get a picture of your own garage with slat walls and your own things hung up, plus a price range for panels, hooks and our install.
You measure, we lock the price
Measure the length of each wall and how high you want the panels. We send the exact price and a shopping list for the panels and hooks.
Walls up, floor booked
We install the walls, and book your flake floor for garage season. A deposit holds the date and goes toward the floor.
What Slat Walls Cost to Install
| Panels | Good for | Our install |
|---|---|---|
| Light PVC | Tools, hoses, bags, small shelves | from $3/sq ft of wall |
| Heavy duty | Ladders, bikes, tires, full shelves | from $4/sq ft of wall |
| Heavy mounts | Tire racks, bike hooks, bolted to the studs | from $50 each |
An example: a 2-door garage with panels from the wall base to the ceiling on both side walls and the back wall is about 420 sq ft of wall. Our install comes to about $1,260 with light panels or $1,680 with heavy duty. The panels and hooks you buy come on top, and the panels are usually the bigger part of the cost. A 4 ft band at arm height instead of full walls cuts both roughly in half.
Hooks and shelves we hang are included, and so are trim, end caps and cutting around outlets and the door. These are package prices, with a flake floor booked. A 2-car flake floor is from $2,800; see the garage floor cost guide.
Why Walls and Floor Go Together
A flake floor needs an empty garage, and a garage only stays empty if everything has a place on the wall. Once ladders, tires and yard tools are up on slat walls, the floor stays clear, it's easy to sweep, and the flake garage floor shows from wall to wall instead of hiding under boxes.
You don't have to do both at once. Walls can go up any time of year, and floors are done in garage season, so a lot of people put the walls up now and book the floor for spring. See the best time to do a garage floor and flake colour ideas.
What it could look like
Our Keswick flake floor, with slat walls added

The left side is a real floor we finished in Keswick. The right side is an AI preview of the same garage with slat walls, shelves and a tire rack, so you can picture it. Send us your photos and we make the same kind of picture of your own garage. See the Keswick job.
FAQ: Garage Slat Walls
Do you sell the slat wall panels?
No. You buy the panels and hooks from any store or online (they ship to your house), and we install them. If you prefer, we put together the shopping list for you from the things you want to hang.
Light or heavy-duty panels?
Light PVC panels are fine for tools, hoses, bags and small shelves; we install them for from $3/sq ft of wall. Thicker heavy-duty panels hold a lot more weight; we install them for from $4/sq ft of wall. If you're hanging tires or other heavy gear, go heavy duty, at least on that wall.
Can a slat wall hold a tire rack?
Yes, but a tire rack doesn't just hook onto the panel. We bolt heavy items like tire racks and bike hooks through to the wall studs, from $50 each.
Can I do only the walls?
Our wall prices are for the package with a flake floor. If you only want walls, send us your photos and we'll tell you what it would cost on its own.
Can the walls go up in winter?
Yes. Walls can go up any time of year. Garage floors are done in garage season, so a lot of people do the walls now and book the floor for spring.
Do I need a site visit?
Usually not. Your photos and wall measurements are enough for the price. We see the garage on install day.
