Is epoxy flooring good for Mississauga's climate?

What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Our garage floors are a full polyaspartic system, base coat and top coat: it handles salt, hot tires and sun better than epoxy. Indoors, in basements, we use epoxy with a moisture barrier under it and a polyaspartic top coat over the flake.
