Tile to Flake: Long Garage Floor in Mississauga

A long, narrow garage in Mississauga we redid in September 2026: the old tile chipped out, the crack down the middle repaired, then a full-flake floor wall to wall, with a baseboard and the sides coated. Done in two days.

The problem

Half the garage was covered in old white tile and the other half in worn green floor paint with tile marks. Under the tile, a long crack ran down the middle of the slab.

What we did

We chipped out all the tile and ground the whole slab down to clean concrete. The crack was filled and ground flush. Then a pigmented base coat, a full broadcast of flake, and a clear polyaspartic top coat. We added a baseboard and coated the sides, and finished the doorway with a metal edge strip.

The result

One continuous flake floor from the garage door to the French doors, into the closet, with no tile lines and no visible crack. Done over two days.
